Addison is Baptized

Addison was baptized this past Sunday. She did very well; she didn't fuss a bit. Here she is with her grandmomma Browning. G-mom B made this smocked outfit for Addison. And it has pink buttons on the back that her great-grandmother Browning had saved for a girl. Unfortunately, her great-grandmomma B did not live to meet Addison. But Addison carries her name (Fay), and we feel like she would be proud of her great-granddaughter.

Pastor Jim even explained what Addison's name means, Biblically speaking. It means she is the daughter of Adam. And he prayed that she would be the daughter of the second Adam, Jesus. With tears of joy, Amens were heard around the sanctuary. What a blessing to be a part of this day. It was simply awesome.

I have a few more pictures of the day to put up. But thanks to Aunt Chrissie, I could get this one up immediately. Uncle Terry is going to send a great picture of Addison in the process of getting soaked. Aunt Shanny was like the paparazzi, which paid off with such an awesome picture.

Anyways, we thank God for a wonderful day. And we are so blessed to be a part of Addison's entrance in to the covenant of God's family!
