What a Difference a Year Makes

I'm not sure if many of you remember, but right about this time last year we were gearing up for the arrival of our new cousin, Ty. Well, almost close to a year after his arrival from Russia, Ty and mom and dad are doing great. Just look at him. He looks like the happiest, healthiest little boy on the planet...and he's almost 2!

Our family is so thrilled for Jody, Steph, and Ty. Adoption transitions are hard, to say the least (a lot of our church members adopt and speak about their adoptions). But to come through it with shining colors is all that matters. And the Haltiwangers have done that and then some. So anyway, I just wanted to show a picture of a family who is truly thankful this Christmas...and for many more to come.
